Free-Form Fantasy
Bead Embroidery can be a time-consuming task, but the results can be fascinating. This piece uses a method that incorporates many different beads in a free-flowing way to create texture and interest.
The beads are sewn on backing material, the backing is trimmed, and then faux suede is applied to the back to finish it.
Hanging it from a normal chain just didn't seem to fit the spirit of the design. So instead I created a flowing beaded "chain".
The clasp in the front is a decorative glass button.
This is a One-on-a-Kind piece and would sell for $$395.
